You Are Home
- DEBORAH CROOKS

Another door before me
As I face another day
And still I wear this question
And wait for you to say

You are home
You are fine
You are not alone
You are mine

And I hear a baby crying
The lament of this plight
How to find some comfort
Through any kind of night
And you are so far away
But I’m holding you in my heart
Though I wonder if you were here
Would we know how to start, and say

You are home
You are fine
You are not alone
You are mine

Head up or head down
We’re all walking our own road
Kicking dust to find a place
Hoping we’ll find some grace, and hear

You are home…
