Strange Behavior
- WadiRum

I look around my body to see if I’m ok
It’s a small miracle when I make it through the day
Yes I seem to recall a time when I wasn’t this way
It’s my strange behavior
A doctor and a lawyer, an errant little boy
The captain of my carpool, the king of all my toys
My head would be so happy if not for all the noise
It’s my strange behavior
I look up from my notebook; the day has turned to night
I pack up all my papers, and pull my coat up tight
I stare too long at strangers their dim faces in the light
It’s my strange behavior
